Is a Florida state license required to perform mold assessment and remediation?
The answer is yes! Effective 7/1/11, enforcement of unlicensed contractor activity is in effect per Florida House Bill 713. This means that any contractor holding themselves out to be a professional mold remediator or assessor must be licensed through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation per Chapter 468 of the Florida Statutes.
Air Duct Aseptics is a licensed mold remediator, licensed mold assessor and licensed Class A air conditioning contractor. Call us today to schedule a complimentary HVAC inspection
