Is a Florida state license required to perform mold assessment and remediation?
The answer is yes! Effective 7/1/11, enforcement of unlicensed contractor activity is in effect per Florida House Bill 713. This means that any contractor holding themselves out to be a professional mold remediator or assessor must be licensed through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation per Chapter 468 of the Florida Statutes.
Air Duct Aseptics is a licensed mold remediator, licensed mold assessor and licensed Class A air conditioning contractor. Call us today to schedule a complimentary HVAC inspection
Rainy season has finally arrived in South Florida! We desperately need the water from the afternoon showers for our gardens and for our drinking water levels.
Don’t forget, now is the time to make sure that your air conditioning system is in tip top condition for the coming summer months. The last thing you need after a hard days’ work is to come home to a hot house, meaning a poor nights’ sleep at the very least!
A tune-up on your air conditioning equipment can identify potential issues before they become a major problem. Our 17-point tune-up will leave you feeling confident that your equipment is up to the task for keeping you cool this summer 🙂
Change your filter every 30-60 days; service your a/c unit every 6 months and clean your HVAC ductwork every 2-10 years. Call Air Duct Aseptics today at 888-707-7763 to schedule your service.
To ensure client and occupant safety, and in addition to being a Class “A” Air Conditioning contractor, Air Duct Aseptics are proud to announce that we are among the first group of companies in Florida to be awarded the state license to perform Mold Remediation 🙂 This is now a requirement of the state of Florida to be able to perform mold remediation.
